Back to the Garden

Most of the time, I have a theme verse that inspires each series of paintings. This collection was sparked from a line of Psalm 51, reading “restore to me the joy of your salvation.”

After a weird a stressful year, I was drawn to the idea of returning to Eden and to God’s original intent for creation. With these paintings, I wanted to appeal to the senses and try and capture what it might look, feel, and taste like to sroll through Eden. I chose vibrant colors and a thick paint application to add to this experience.

I hope these offer little snapshots of hope, and encourage us all to return to the basic joys and truths.
